Eligibility Requirements
Illinois State employees who actively support academic advising through on-campus work on campus are eligible to apply. Nominees should have a minimum of one (1) year of continuous university service and must not have worked as an academic advisor during the past year. An individual may receive this award no more than once every five (5) years.
Award
Award recipients are acknowledged at the End of Year Wrap-Up Event in May and will receive a commemorative plaque.

The nomination materials submitted for this award should help support and demonstrate the nominee's outstanding contributions to the profession of academic advising.
Nominators should submit the following materials:

Selection Committee
The Academic Advising Council (AAC) will evaluate nominations on the evidence that distinguishes the nominee as an outstanding advising advocate who has worked to improve the academic advising mission at Illinois State.
