Enrollment Management & Academic Services

Enrollment Management and Academic Services (EMAS) oversees various University policies, procedures, and requirements related to university and program enrollment management, in addition to, initiatives which promote the academic success of prospective and current students.

  • Admissions

    The Office of Admissions works with prospective students throughout the application and admissions processes.

  • Registrar

    The Office of the University Registrar manages and maintains the academic processes that support the goals of Illinois State.

  • Honors Program

    The Honors Program promotes exceptional learning for exceptional learners by enriching students' learning experiences at Illinois State.

  • Financial Aid

    The Financial Aid Office supports students in navigating the processes and trials in financing a college education.

  • University College

    University College provides programs and services that assists students in being successful at Illinois State.

  • Enrollment Management Committee

    The Enrollment Management Committee is charged with establishing enrollment requirements for academic programs, departments, schools, and colleges in consultation with the University Enrollment Committee.

News in EMAS

Illinois State University welcomed 4,285 First Time in College (FTIC) students for the 2024-2025 academic year, its largest incoming class in the University’s history, up 3 percent from last year. The new class of students is also the most diverse in school history. Total enrollment is 21,546, marking a 2.7 percent increase over the previous year.
